state licensing Requirements: for Commercial mortgage LENDING & workouts DID YOU KNOW ?...No State Other Than AZ Requires an Out of State Broker to Have In State Licensing. Prior to the 2008 Federal S.A.F.E. Act There Were Nine States Requiring Licensing for CRE Lending or Modification Services. They Were ( CA, TX, FL, NJ, RI, MD, ND, SD, WI). Post S.A.F.E. Act States Either Chose Not to Regulate CRE Lending at all or Create Exemptions Within Their Laws for it.
